How to Win at the Online Dating Game
Now that the stigma of online dating is gone, millions of people are on the Web seeking partners. “Your profile is the only thing others have to go on, so you have to get it right,” says Leslie Oren, author of Fine, I’ll Go Online! Drawing on the expertise she gained as a Hollywood publicist, Oren divulges her secrets for creating the right e-image.

Tell the truth: “Not only is it the best way to find a viable match and weed out the less desireable ones, it shows you’re proud and confident–both incredibly sexy qualities,” says Oren. Fill out your age, body type, and likes and dislikes without any little white lies.
Carefully consider your photos: “Men aren’t looking for models, just someone who is authentic,” says Oren. Be sure you accurately resemble the image you post. “It’ll be one less thing you have to worry about when you meet for the first time,” she says.
Talk yourself up: “It may feel like braggin, but don’t be afraid to call out your best qualities,” she says. Make a list of the characteristics and experiences that make you unique and share your favorite ones.
