How to Give You a Great Massage
- Make sure the massage oil or lotion is warm. You can warm lotion by rubbing it between the palms of your hands.
- Be inconsistent. Touch your partner with your fingertips, fists, knuckles, elbows, the full palm and the heel of your palm. Likewise, while touching, use a variety of strokes — from deep rubbing and kneading to tickling and light scratching. And feel free to lean in close, using your body weight to add force.
- Kissing is considered a natural part of massage. According to Chinese reflexology, arousal is tied to being touched on the spot just above the lip and the nose.
- The brain, said to control our sexual impulses, can make or break potentially steamy moments. Temples and the point just between the brows are unsexy tension cesspools. So lay your lover’s head in your lap, rub these spots in a circular motion and let the endorphins flow.
- When the chemistry is right, nibbling on, rubbing or kissing ears can trigger stimulative and sedative reactions.
- Run your fingers through your partner’s hair and pull gently to stimulate the scalp.
- Movements should always go toward the heart. So if you want to reach your lover’s thighs, start at the toes and move your way up.
- Reflexology also says hands and feet are microcosms of the body. When tenderly caressed, hands and feet can signal the interior of the body. So, in theory, you can touch a person’s heart by massaging the ball of the left foot, or tap into your beloved’s brain by massaging the big toes.
- Hands, full or nerve endings, are incredibly sensitive. So massage each finger along the joint to the tip with your fingertips or, perhaps, lip and mouth.
